- Credit Card in renter’s name - Visa, MC,Discover & Amex accepted. Cash accepted for security deposit.

*Driver’s License and Major Credit Card must match the individual responsible for the rental.

What are the requirements to OPERATE a boat/jet ski?

- ALL operators must watch BOATER SAFETY VIDEO 

- All operators must be 21+ to drive a boat and 18+ to drive a jet ski 

In Texas, "if you were born on/after Sept. 1, 1993, you must complete a Boater Education Course"

  Do I need a reservation?

Although we are a new company, reservations are highly encouraged. We have received great feedback about our can't be beat prices on boat and jet ski rentals in Kingsland. If you arrive at Lake LBJ without a reservation and decide you want to get on the water, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to help YOU get on Laketime! 😊 

Do I need to call to make a reservation?

At this time, you can call, text, email or use the contact form at the bottom of each page to reach us and make your reservation. We are trying to find a booking company that will make online reservations, but we have not found one we feel our customers would be happy with yet. We appreciate your patience.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICIES

Reservation Deposit 

• A deposit on a major credit card is required.
• By giving us your credit card information for your Reservation Deposit, you are agreeing to, and will abide by, our policies. The policies are included in your Reservation confirmation email.

 Payment for Rental

• The full rental balance is due three days (3) before we deliver your rental and will be charged to the credit card on file.       

Damage Deposit 

• A deposit of $500/jet ski and $500/boat is required at time of reservation. This MUST be placed on a major credit card in the name of the renter.
• The Damage Deposit will be released in full upon the return of your rented equipment in the same condition it was prior to your rental period. 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

To provide the best service to all customers, the following policies are in place:

• A refund of your Deposit (minus a 5% credit card fee) will be given if cancellation is made more than 7 days from the scheduled delivery day.
• Between 3 and 7 days prior to the scheduled delivery day, there will a refund of the deposit minus $200 and minus 5% credit card fee.
• Between scheduled delivery day and 3 days prior, you will be charged the full rental fee.
• Renters that “No Show” will be charged the full rental rate.
• Cancellations must be made in writing - email or text -  - to avoid misunderstandings of when cancellation was requested.

What happens if there is bad weather? 

Weather related situations for rentals will be taken on a case by case basis:

• If there is inclement weather (storms with high winds, lightning and thunder) at the time of your reservation and WE cancel your outing, you will be contacted and provided the option of a refund or credit for that rental day.
• Once the rental is in your possession, we cannot take responsibility for the weather and refund will be given in the form of credit on a case by case basis.  If we determine the customer was able, or could have been able, to achieve at least 5 hours on the lake, no refund will be issued. 
• To avoid no show/no calls, standard deposit policies will be used for all reschedules.

DAMAGE POLICY

To avoid any misunderstandings,   

• During check-out, we go through a damage check list and also video the equipment to ensure that both the renter, and Laketime Boat Rentals are protected in case of any discrepancies regarding damage. We encourage you, the renter, to take pictures/video any items that you take note of and do not wish to be responsible for.
• If any damage occurs while the rental is in the possession of the renter, they will be responsible to repair the damages. Laketime Boat Rentals does not allow anyone to fix the equipment except certified dealers approved by us.
• In the event that any accessories are damaged during the rental (skis, tubes, wake boards, etc.), the renter will be held liable for the replacement cost of the item(s).

   Are life vests included?

Yes, and are required. Children 12 and under must wear a life vest at all times when aboard the vessels. Orange PFDs are on the boats and life vests are supplied for jet ski rentals. If you are going to be towing a toy on the lake, they are also required for each passenger on the towable.

Is gas included in my rental?

Your rental will be delivered with a full tank of gas. You are responsible for the gas you use during your rental.  When we pick up your rental, we go to the nearest station, fill up the tank, send you a picture of the receipt and that amount will be deducted from your deposit OR you are welcome to come with us and pay for the gas.

Can we bring food and drinks on the boats?

Absolutely, and highly recommended. You may bring your own coolers or we have some for rent (if you forgot yours). The exceptions are…NO GLASS, NO COLORED DRINKS (like red juice/red wine), and NO JELLO SHOTS…if there is damage/staining to the vessel you will be responsible for cleaning fees and/or repair/replacement.

  Do you have a drinking policy?

You may not drink or be under the influence of any drugs/alcohol prior to, or during, the operation of our vessels or while participating in towing activities.  While alcohol is allowed on our boats, the driver may NEVER drink and everyone must abide by all rules and laws pertaining to alcohol on the lake.  

 Do you allow pets?

Yes, but they are only allowed on our Regal ski boats. Of course, any damage/additional cleaning is the responsibility of the renter. 

Do you have coolers, chairs, etc. we might have forgotten or didn't want to bring with us to the lake?

Yes, we have several items like this.  Contact us and we'll send you an email with our current inventory.  Our rental prices for these items are extremely reasonable and hopefully we will save you a trip to the store.

 Do I need a fishing license and do you have any fishing equipment/supplies?

In Texas, anyone over 18 needs a fishing license.  You can purchase a license and fishing equipment/supplies at several stores in our area.  We do not have any fishing equipment, but hope to add some in the future.

  I waited too long to reserve a boat and now there are none left. Do you have a standby list?

Yes.  If the rental you want is not available, we will put you on a standby list.  If there is a cancellation,  we will contact you. There is no obligation to make a reservation should the rental become available.

  If the rental or accessories are damaged am I responsible for it?

If there is a problem with the rental and/or any accessories, we will determine what the cause of it was and from there make a determination of who is responsible for the damages. As part of the rental agreement the renter is responsible for the boat/jet ski and/or any accessories while in their possession and any damages that occur during that time. If you have any questions about this policy, please make sure to ask prior to the start of your rental period.

I've heard some companies ALWAYS "find" and charge for prop damage.  Does Laketime do this?

We only charge for a prop if you or someone you allow to drive the boat damages the prop.  We send all of our boats out with new (or like new) props.  If a prop is damaged, we replace it.  Prior to your rental, you will be asked to inspect the prop (and the rest of the boat) while on video to assure that we are not assigning damage to you if the damage was present prior to your rental period.  If you follow our safety and operation guidelines, this is usually not an issue.  

**GPS coordinates are monitored at all times, for both your protection as well as ours.

Please take note of the following:

To avoid misunderstandings concerning breakdowns, accidents, or inclement weather, or loss of cruising time, we call your attention to the following policy:  We check all mechanical equipment prior to your departure. You need not accept your boat until you are satisfied with your boat and equipment. However, once upon the lake, you alone are responsible for its operation. Under these circumstances, we cannot be responsible for any loss of cruising time due to: mechanical failure, weather, collision, or physical mishaps, such as illness or personal accidents.
